Kate Buckley is an artist based in Boston, Lincolnshire. Having studied both Textile Design and Fine Art her practice incorporates a wide range of mediums including painting, drawing, sculpture, video and performance. She is a member of ‘gP’, an artist-run collective based in Lincoln, organising exhibitions and events across the city and elsewhere in the UK.

The works on display at Burton Dental Lodge are part of an ongoing series of paintings entitled ‘In Dissolve’, produced between 2008 and 2016. Using a combination of oil and aluminium paint on heavy paper, surfaces are built up, diluted and dragged, suggesting spaces seen in hazy reflection.
